eMedicine

10,000 physician authors and editors contribute to the eMedicine Clinical Knowledge Base, which contains articles on 7,000 diseases and disorders.  Articles undergo 4 levels of peer review and are reviewed by a PharmD before publication. Early in 2008, eMedicine announced that it is being upgraded and merged with MedScape.  Free, but registration is required.
